lesbian friendly colleges?

lesbian friendly colleges? I'm looking at grad schools right now, and I was hoping to get some feedback in terms of which universities are lesbian friendly. There are a few websites that list "gay friendly" schools, but I find that generally means gay guys, not women (or genderqueer people). I'm looking for a place with a substantial lesbian community that is out, active, and social. These are the schools that have the PhD program I'm interested in: NYU, Columbia, Yale, Princeton, Harvard, U of Chicago, U of Washington. Any students or alumni have input? (btw, I did my undergrad at UCLA, and while it was very welcoming and supportive, there was only a handful of other queer women in the lgbt orgs.)

Isn't Providence RI known for having a thriving lesbian college community? I don't know the name of the university.
