I don't believe that travel should be about expensive hotels or stereotypical sightseeing. Stopping to see landmarks has it's place, but I really love finding the local restaurants and hangout spots. I have a strong appreciation for the ordinary day-to-day life. I love meeting new people, hanging out in coffeeshops for a cup of caffeination, going to music shows, and going on long road trips. I hope someday I can own a motorcycle and take a trip up to Quebec City to see the historic city wall. I guess it's the closest thing to going to Europe in North America. =D I'm more a cat person than a dog person, but I love both. I'm crazy about coffee. I actually roast it myself. I try to constantly have a few pounds of unroasted green coffee on me because I love having an incredibly fresh cup of coffee every morning [or... really... anytime]. I like staying fit. I've recently started eating healthier and going to the gym a few times a week to go running. I try to cook a lot of my own food - I also like making things from scratch. I'd love to get in good enough shape to run a marathon. The first things people usually notice about me [as told by my friends] honestly, flexibility, authenticity, I have dreams and I'm working towards them, like to have fun, open minded, good sense of humor, there for others, committed, don't give up on things easily, down to earth, cultured.
