Authentic/down to earth/loving guy seeks wonderful woman
Hey! I'm living in the Ann Arbor area and looking for someone with similar interests. I'm looking for fr women loking for sex Loraine iendship first, maybe more later. If you're interested we could shoot some emails, do the IM thing for a bit, text, whatever to start things off, then meet up later --> There are a lot of creepy people on Criagslist [as told by my female friends] so I'd like to do what I can to make you feel comfortable [and in the process distance myself from creepy ladies =D]. I'd love to hear from you if you are: <> Passionate. For people, hobbies, or interests. I take pride in being passionate about everything I do, I'd like you to be the same. <> Open minded. I came from a really conservative town where there was a lot of closed mindedness. I love open minded intellectuals. <> Nerdy. This might go hand in hand with passionate. I love people who get into hobbies and get very passionate about their interests. <> Authentic/Honest. I'm from out of town and I get this vibe that a lot of people in this city suffer from this addiction to pretentiousness. Authenticity is really important to me. <> Healthy. I'm not saying you have to shop at the food coop and only eat organic. I tend to view relationships as this: before you can take care of someone else in your life, you have to be able to take care of yourself first. I try to stay healthy/take care of myself, I'd hope you would too. <> Humorous. I try to find humor in everyday life. I love laughing. Love comedy: both stand up and recorded. <> Optimistic or more optimistic than pessimistic. Some of my interests - I'm really passionate about travel - I've lived overseas in many countries and studied a lot of languages. I'm not fluent in any of them, but want to be completely fluent in at least one other one at one point in my life. But I'm less interested in touristy travel and much more into learning about the people, living in the country, and assimilating with the culture. I don't believe that travel should be about expensive hotels or stereotypical sightseeing. Stopping to see landmarks has it's place, but I really love finding the local restaurants and hangout spots. I have a strong appreciation for the ordinary day-to-day life. I love meeting new people, hanging out in coffeeshops for a cup of caffeination, going to music shows, and going on long road trips. I hope someday I can own a motorcycle and take a trip up to Quebec City to see the historic city wall. I guess it's the closest thing to going to Europe in North America. =D I'm more a cat person than a dog person, but I love both. I'm crazy about coffee. I actually roast it myself. I try to constantly have a few pounds of unroasted green coffee on me because I love having an incredibly fresh cup of coffee every morning [or... really... anytime]. I like staying fit. I've recently started eating healthier and going to the gym a few times a week to go running. I try to cook a lot of my own food - I also like making things from scratch. I'd love to get in good enough shape to run a marathon. The first things people usually notice about me [as told by my friends] honestly, flexibility, authenticity, I have dreams and I'm working towards them, like to have fun, open minded, good sense of humor, there for others, committed, don't give up on things easily, down to earth, cultured. Music: ska, Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, Less than Jake Swing, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, salsa, celtic, world music, Rise Against I also love comedy. Mainly because I love laughing - I like stand up comics and recorded versions. I tend to prefer more witty rather than slapstick comics. Books: Malcolm Gladwell, Martin Seligman, Robert Kiyosaki, Robert Haidt, Harry Potter, Mountains Beyond Mountains, Malcolm Gladwell, Paul Theroux, Bill Bryson Food: ethnic food, chinese food, japanese food, sushi, stir fry, fresh veggies, home cooking Movies: Count of Monte Cristo, A Beautiful Mind, Supersize Me, Adventureland, well acted but low budget movies, Documentaries, foreign films. I'll include a picture if you send yours first. I hope to hear back from you.
